About us

Founded in 2005, by a preselection organised on April 10th, its aim has been to become a national centre of research of young talents into the field of pop music. Thanks to the professionalism of the composer – text maker – choreographer training team and the interpretive talent of the selected people, the club has very quickly become known nationwide and worldwide, being invited to participate in great audience shows, such as:
- the DUMINICA IN FAMILIE show on the ANTENA 1 television channel, with the first-auditioning melody “A Sunday in the family”,

- the TELEDON show on the TV channel ANTENA 1, with the song Mereu aproape (Always close), first audition

- the TEO show on the TV channel PRO TV…ROMANTICA…five times…

- the CANALUL DE ŞTIRI on the TV channel ANTENA 1…four times…

- the DIS DE SEARA show on the TV channel TVR 1, with the song Dis de seară (Early in the night), first audition

- the CAFENEAUA ASTRELOR show, on the TVR 1 TV channel, with the Jingle Bells song, December, 2007

- the “HORA PRICHINDEILOR show on the TVR 2 TV channel

- the “DE 3X FEMEIE show on the ACASĂ TV channel

- filming for the Christmas and New Year’s Eve programmes with the PRO TV Internaţional channel

- the VINE CLUJU PE LA NOI show, on the TVR 2 TV channel

- in the course of December 2007, two video clips with the ETNO TV channel

- the AXA television in Baia-Mare
Fruitful collaborations with radio channels, such as:

- Radio România Actualităţi, Radio Constanţa, RadioBistriţa, RadioTransilvania, Radio 21, Radio PRO FM, Radio Contact etc., which have broadcast the little stars’ songs, and not last, a special collaboration withRadio Cluj, where the initial preselection took place.

After a long training period, shows and concerts have started to appear, where the Clubul Vedetelor were invited, too. They sang along with great Romanian bands and known artists:

1. Voltaj, Iris, Marcel Pavel, Ovidiu Komornic, Fuego, Compact, Corina Chiriac, Angela Similea, Pavel Stratan, Desperado, Cristina Rusu, Andreea Bălan, Laura Stoica, Mihai Constantinescu, Florin Săsărman, Vali Şerban, Ducu Bertzi, Maria Gheorghiu etc.

The Clubul Vedetelor (The Stars’ Club) had the special honour to be invited to participate in the anniversary show “FLORIN PIERSIC at the 70’s” at the National Theatre in Cluj-Napoca, on which occasion these very talented kids sang the first auditioning “Happy Birthday, Florin”, dedicated to the great actorFlorin Piersic.
An exceptional recital was held at the epigram festival “THE ETERNAL EPIGRAM”, 2006

The hours of work, rehearsals and the earnestness of the activity at the Stars’ Club has made little stars of these talented kids with the issue and launching of the first albums:
-“WINTER SONGS” – 2005 - and “CHRISTMAS CAROLS 2005”, albums launched in Cluj, Braşov, Baia Mare and Bucharest.

Shortly afterwards the next albums were issued:
-“THE TRUE STORY CASTLE – VOLUME 1”

-“THE TRUE STORY CASTLE – VOLUME 2”

Season’s albums:

1. SPRING SONGS – 2006 – launched in Cluj, having Mihai Constantinescu as a guest,

Braşov at the “International music and book festival” and in Bucharest

- SUMMER SONGS – 2006 – an album launched at the summer theatre in Mamaia -

- AUTUMN SONGS – 2006 – an album launched live at Radio Cluj -

- WINTER SONGS – 2006 – an album launched in Cluj and Bucharest, on the occasion of 22 shows in the course of December, 2006.

In order to sing abroad, too, the little stars have approached a massive individual repertoire, sung in five international languages: English, Italian, French, Spanish, German, and, during 2007, the first international three albums have appeared.

- A MIXED ALBUM – sung in Spanish, French and German -

After the launch of these albums, the Clubul Vedetelor had four international tours during 2007, Austria and Spain. They have made concerts in Vienna, upon an invitation of the Romanian Embassy, Wiener Neustadt, Barcelona, Cerdanyola del Valles. During the European tour in July, 2007, these talented kids have also reached Palma de Mallorca, Monte Carlo, Milano, Venice.

During two years and eight months, the Clubul Vedetelor’s talented kids have launched 12 albums.
Under full preparations there are: volume 3 of “THE TRUE STORY CASTLE” and a collection album, which will include the following songs…

-Iepuraşa (The she-bunny)….song written for The Easter feast…

-La Mamaia (In Mamaia)…song written for the Mamaia festival

-Dis de seară (Early in the evening)… song written for the Dis de seară (Early in the evening) show

-Mereu aproape (Always close)… song written for the ANTENA 1

-La mulţi ani Florine! (Happy Birthday, Florin!) …song written for master Florin Piersic at his 70th anniversary.

-O duminică-n familie (A Sunday in the family)… song written for the DUMINICA ÎN FAMILIE (SUNDAY IN THE FAMILY) show and other songs to follow.

In the summer of 2006, Clubul Vedetelor was invited to participate in shows related with the national pop festival for children “MAMAIA COPIILOR” (CHILDREN’S MAMAIA). On the stage of the festival, the Clubul Vedetelor has performed in a recital with a first-audition song “La Mamaia” (In Mamaia). The team behind these little talents is a team of professionals who cover the entire necessary range of theoretical and practical training.

The activity of musical-choreographic is developed in the MEGA DIGITAL STUDIO,
the records being made and supervised by with internationally experienced and trained sound engineers.

What is very important to mention is that each kid at the Clubul Vedetelor owns their own impressive individual repertoire, each of them standing as an individual soloist on the stages performed on by the Clubul Vedetelor. During the performance of one of them, the colleagues provide the choreography. Even if there are group melodies in the children’s repertoire, the children have stood up as individual soloists, successfully facing the all-together interpretation style. Concerts held by the Clubul Vedetelor kids are 100% live.Among the very important preparation details at this club is the fact that during every rehearsal, children’s symphonic musical culture is tested by auditions and specialised tests.
The individual interpretation as a pop soloist is backed by individual piano, theory and solfeggio classes.

During 2008, the main priorities of the CLUBUL VEDETELOR are…
international musical standing-up by concerts, shows and high quality festivals abroad, in all European countries and worldwide.

The issue of album  THE TRUE STORY CASTLE volume 3
In March, 2008, the MAMI magazine will issue a CD with spring songs interpreted by the Clubul Vedetelorkids.
